EDN Maryland is your first point-of-contact to receive objective information about eating disorder resources available to you and your family throughout the state of Maryland. Whether you’re looking for educational information about eating disorders, treatment providers who specialize in working with this population, or community events focused on eating disorders, EDN Maryland can help!
We are dedicated to helping men, women, and their families affected by anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, and other types of disordered eating behaviors. By working together with all types of eating disorder professionals right here in Maryland, we can provide you and your family with the necessary information to help YOU decide which resources will be most useful. We are here to offer a helping hand as you navigate this often confusing and unknown territory.
EDN Maryland is made up of concerned parents, family members, and professionals who live with or work with individuals affected by eating disorders. This multidisciplinary team of volunteers ensures that the mission of EDN and the resources we provide are always “family-friendly.”
Currently, EDN is sponsoring several community projects:
-
✴A “Resource Room” at EDN headquarters where individuals and families can obtain information about local and national eating disorder resources;
